Frequently asked questions

What is "licensing" and how long does it take?
Obtaining a license or "licensing" is simply permission from the copyright holder to make the arrangement. A third party collects the licensing fee directly from the ensemble/organization. These fees are in addition to arranging fees. While some licenses are issued almost immediately, others can take weeks or months. In some circumstances, permission cannot be obtained. It's a good idea to select titles and obtain permission well in advance of when you need the arrangement.
What instrumental parts are included?
Most arrangements include: 3 trumpets, 1-2 trombones, 2-3 saxes, piano, bass, drums & synth(s). Feel free to contact us with questions regarding instrumentation, vocal range, form, etc.
*Some band parts may not include some/all articulations.
*Trumpets may be combined into one or two parts.
*Some arrangements do not include a drum part. This is specifically indicated in the description of each title.

Are rehearsal tracks available?
